Papdi Bean (Surti Papdi – Chandni) is an edible podded bean is especially popular in the State of Gujarat. The bean is cooked with spices and makes a great accompaniment with Indian breads like poori. It is also an essential for the vegetable medley dish called undhiyu. Seeds are pale brown in color.
